クール&シックでありながら、聴く者のハートをわしづかむ嵐の8thアルバム「Dream"A"live」。タイトル、"ドリームアライブ"の意味は？
Arashi's 8th Album, Dream"A"live, captures its listeners hearts while maintaining its cool and chic style. What is the meaning of the title?

松本 - アルバムのレコーディングしてたら、曲から夢と現実っていう言葉が浮かんできて、今回それをテーマにいかない？って話をしたんだよね。で、オレはタイトル案に、Dreamがあって。
櫻井 - オレはAliveだった。
松本 - それをうまく合わせた造語ってことで、「Dream"A"live」。今はドームツアーのセットリストを詰めてるところだね。
大野 - もう、全部いい曲。
櫻井 - 内容しかり、タイトルしかり、ドームツアーに辿り着くためのアルバムって言ってもいいね。

Matsumoto - When we were recording for the album, words like dream and reality kept surfacing in the songs, so we talked about maybe using that as the theme this time, ne. Dream was my idea for the title.
Sakurai - Alive was mine.
Matsumoto - In order to fit them together properly it became 'Dream"A"live'. Right now we're in the middle of working on the set list for the dome tour, ne.
Ohno - They're all good songs.
Sakurai - It'd be alright to say that this album's contents and title were made for the dome tour, ne.

5/16金の京セラドームを皮切りに、東京、札幌、名古屋、福岡と5大ドームツアーへ向かう嵐。
Fri 5/16 starts off in Kyocera Dome, then Tokyo, Sapporo, Nagoya, Fukuoka; Arashi is facing a 5 giant dome tour.

相葉 - 「Your Song」は特にライブのイメージが浮かんだ曲で、そのイメージ通りできたら気持ちいいだろうなぁ。みんなと一体になれる、新しい恒例の曲になったらいいなって思った。
二宮 - オレはソロはライブを意識して作ったね。狙いました!
櫻井 - 「Gimmick Game」ね。ニノ、打ち合せしながら、歌詞書いてなかったけ？
二宮 - そう、でしたね。
大野 - よくポンポンと書けるな。
二宮 - 目の前で翔ちゃんが汗だくでカレー食ってたり、隣でリーダーが絵描いてたりしてる状況の方が、意外に書けるんだよね。
松本 - 歌詞は過去の経験ですか？
二宮 - あのね～、歌詞通り、きったない指した人がいたんですよ(大野をチラリ見)。
大野 - え？樹脂の汚れ？
二宮 - これ、大野さんの歌です。
松本 - ハハハハ。気持ち悪いわ。
二宮 - (しゃあしゃあと)僕とリーダーが恋愛してたときの歌です。もうダメになっちゃいましたが。
大野 - じゃあオレ、ドームのとき、この歌の間奏で出るから。
相葉 - 回想シーンだ(笑)。
櫻井 - オレも間奏でカレー食うわ。
二宮 - カレーは関係ないでしょ!

Aiba - 'Your Song' is a song that seems to eminate the concert atmosphere, if we can successfully pull off that image at the real thing that'd be awesome. I think it'd be good if we could join as one and create a new regular concert song.
Ninomiya - I made my solo with our concerts in mind. It was planned.
Sakurai - 'Gimmick Game' right? Weren't you writing the lyrics during one of our meetings?
Ninomiya - Yea, I was.
Ohno - You can write pretty fast.
Ninomiya - With Sho in front of me sweating profusely while eating his curry and Leader drawing a picture next to me, surprisingly, i can write in those conditions, ne.
Matsumoto - Were the lyrics based on a past experience?
Ninomiya - Well you see~ just like in the song, theres this guy with dirty fingers. (glancing at Ohno)
Ohno - Huh? The resin stains?
Ninomiya - This is Ohno's song.
Matsumoto - Hahahaha. Thats gross.
Ninomiya - (without shame) Its a song from when Leader and I were in love. Although its over now.
Ohno - I'll come out for the interlude in the song during the concerts then.
Aiba - A reminiscent scene. (laughs)
Sakurai - I'll eat curry during it too.
Ninomiya - Curry has nothing to do with this!

松本 - リーダーの「Take Me Far Away」さ、オレ、リーダーの歌うコーラスが好き。
相葉 - きれいだよね～。
松本 - うん。1曲ひとりで全部歌ってる感じがすごくいい。
櫻井 - 大野智ワンマンショーだ。
大野 - (ニヤリとガッツポーズ)
二宮 - 今回、どうして、こういう曲をやろうと思ったんですか？
大野 - トイレに入ったとき、BGMで洋楽が流れてて、こういうのいいな、って、ピーンときた。
二宮 - トイレで直感、ですか～。
大野 - 釣り行ったときのトイレだ。
松本 - じゃあ、気分イケイケのときにピンと来たわけだね。
大野 - そう。しかもその日、魚もいっぱい釣れたんだよ。
二宮 - 大漁曲だ。ドームで歌うとき、バックに(ジャニーズ)Jr.を一列に並べて、釣りしてもらいなよ。
櫻井 - (大爆笑)それ、見てぇー!
松本 - 超シュール～。
二宮 - 間奏で、なぜか本当に魚が釣れちゃったりしてね。
松本 - 薄い布が出てきて、そこから魚が跳ねたりして(笑)。
二宮 - 相葉さんの「Hello Goodbye」も相葉さんらしいというか、ああ、こういう曲好きなんだろうな、って感じだね。
櫻井 - 冒頭の歌詞で引き込まれますね。お元気ですか？だっけ？
相葉 - ご機嫌いかがですか？だね。手紙形式で始まります(笑)。
松本 - この曲がDisc 2の1曲目ってところがよくできてる。
櫻井 - メッセージ性あるよね。
相葉 - そうだね。出会いがあれば別れもある、っていうね。
二宮 - 潤の「Naked」はどうですか？皆さん。
櫻井 - 前回よりもヤバい。尖りのないエロさみたいな感じがある。
相葉 - 曲に入っていきやすいね。
大野 - 「Naked」って裸って意味だよね。歌うときも裸で？
松本 - それ、逮捕でしょ。お巡りさん、ドームにいっぱいいるから。
櫻井 - 松本、確保～!
二宮 - 両腕押さえられちゃって、前を隠したくても隠せない(笑)。
松本 - 裸は裸でも、精神的な方。
櫻井 - 素、みたいなね。
松本 - 最近、そういう気分なの。
大野 - いい意味で気持ちいい曲。
櫻井 - 言葉の使い方間違ってますから。悪い意味だと、気持ち悪い、になりますから(笑)。
二宮 - 「Hip Pop Boogie」はさ、驚きましたよ。まさか翔ラップするとはね。
全員 - (大爆笑)
櫻井 - その感想、おかしいだろ。
松本 - また違うレベルのラップな気がするね。ネクストレベルのFLOWを届けるぜ、みたいなね。
大野 - 自分で書いてるんでしょ？ホント、よく書けるなぁ～(感心)。
二宮 - 好きなとこあるんだよね。
大野 - "最後にはパイオニアっ"。
櫻井 - 満足げな顔してる(笑)。

Matsumoto - In Leader's 'Take Me Far Away', I like the chorus he sings in the background.
Aiba - It's so pretty, ne~.
Matsumoto - Yea. The feeling that it was all sung alone is really nice.
Sakurai - Ohno Satoshi, the one man show.
Ohno - (grinning and flexing his muscles)
Ninomiya - Why did you choose to do this song this time?
Ohno - When i was in the bathroom, there was a western song playing in the background, I thought it was kind of nice and then it just came to me.
Ninomiya - Your bathroom instincts?~
Matsumoto - So the reason you picked it was because you were in a good mood at the time, ne.
Ohno - Yeah. On top of that, I had gotten a lot of fish that day.
Ninomiya - The great fishing song. When you sing it in the dome, you can have the (Johnny's) Jr. lined up behind you fishing.
Sakurai - (roars in laughter) That i want to see~~!
Matsumoto - SO surreal~.
Ninomiya - During the interlude of the song, somehow they'd make it seem like they actually caught a fish, ne.
Matsumoto - A thin cloth emerges and then the fish gets away. (laughs)
Ninomiya - Aiba's solo 'Hello Goodbye' is very Aiba-ish, or rather has a feeling like he likes these types of songs, ne.
Sakurai - You get sucked in from the very first line, ne. Was it 'o genki desu ka?' ?
Aiba - It's 'go-kigen ikaga desu ka?', ne. It starts out in letter format. (laughs)
Matsumoto - This song is the first one on Disc 2, very well done.
Sakurai - It has a message in it, ne.
Aiba - Yea it does. When you meet someone there will eventually be a time when you'll have to separate again.
Ninomiya - What did you think of Jun's 'Naked' everyone?
Sakurai - It's more 'yabai' than last time. It has a delicate erotic feeling to it.
Aiba - It's easy to get into, ne.
Ohno - 'Naked' means 'hadaka' right? So you'll be naked when you sing it too?
Matsumoto - That'd get me arrested. There are tons of security that patrol around the dome.
Sakurai - Matsumoto, get him~!
Ninomiya - You'd have both your arms restrained and wouldnt be able to cover up your front even if you wanted to. (laughs)
Matsumoto - Even if naked is naked, it'll only be in spirit.
Sakurai - Like unadorned, ne.
Matsumoto - I feel like that lately.
Ohno - A song that feels good with a good meaning.
Sakurai - Because youre confusing the way the words are being used. If it was a bad meaning, it would give a bad feeling. (laughs) [??? kinda confusing to me.. I think leader made a mistake]
Ninomiya - 'Hip Pop Boogie' surprised me. Who'd of thought Sho would rap, ne!
Everyone - (bursts out laughing)
Sakurai - Isn't that impression a little off.
Matsumoto - It feels like its a new level of rap, ne. Like "I'm delivering you the next level of Flow", ne.
Ohno - You write them yourself right? You really can write well~. (admiration)
Ninomiya - You liked a certain part didnt you.
Ohno - 'Pioneer until the end'.
Sakurai - You look so satisfied. (laughs)

音楽的な嵐のカッコよさはアルバムで堪能。嵐が思う、嵐のカッコ良さもぜひ知りたいっ!
Your musical coolness as Arashi is amazing in the album. We want to know what Arashi thinks is cool!

松本 - リーダーの舞台(「アマツカゼ」)を観に行って思ったよ。この人が真剣になるスイッチが入った瞬間っていいな、って。
相葉 - いいよね～。
松本 - その瞬間を観るためだけでも、舞台を観に行く価値あるよ。やっぱりスターだよな。
二宮 - (大野に)よかったなぁ。
大野 - (ちっちゃくガッツポーズ)
櫻井 - 相葉さんはさ、「驚きの嵐1」で藁の船のロケに行ったじゃん。最初、一人用の藁の船に乗ったんだよね。超水が冷たかったのに、彼はいきなり船で腹ばいになってジャポーンって。で、"このほうが面白いでしょ"って言われたときには、こいつマジですげーって思ったね。バラエティーでワニの口を洗ってる人は違うな、と。
全員 - かっけ～!
相葉 - いや、本当の理由はね(笑)。藁の船がかなり不安定だったから、点で攻めるより面だ、と思って。
全員 - (大爆笑)
相葉 - とはいえ、寒い日だったぜ。

Matsumoto - I felt that way when i went to go see Leader's play ('Amatsukaze'). The instant when he switches to his serious side is amazing.
Aiba - It's nice isnt it.
Matsumoto - Even if its only to see that one single moment, it makes going to the play worth it. Definetly a star, ne.
Ninomiya - (to Ohno) Isnt that great?
Ohno - (making a tiny flexing pose)
Sakurai -  I went with Aiba on location for the straw boat for 'Odoroki no Arashi 1', right? At first, we rode in it singly, ne. Even though the water was sooo cold, he was suddenly stomach deep in shouting Japoon. Then when he told me 'it's probably more fun this way.', i was surprised at how serious he was about it. People who wash out the inside of a crocodiles mouth on variety tv are different. [this was really confusing too >_< sorry]
Everyone - Lively~!
Aiba - Nah, there was a reason for it, ne. (laughs) Since the straw boat was rather unstable, I think its more attacking the aspect than at some specific point. [this too :(]
Everyone - (bursts out laughing)
Aiba - It was cold that day though.

しかし、その部分は残念ながら、オンエアになはならず(泣)。
Even though that was unfortunate, it wasnt on air. (tear)

相葉 - うっそ？!
櫻井 - なおさらカッコいいよ。
松本 - かなりロックだね(笑)。
二宮 - そのやり尽くす姿勢がね。
相葉 - 僕は、翔くんが新聞読んでるところにカッコ良さ感じる。たまにじゃなくて毎日欠かさずだからね。続けるカッコ良さ!読んでる姿はオッサンだけど。
二宮 - 縦折りですから。
松本 - 通勤途中のオッサンだね。
櫻井 - アハハハ、確かに。
大野 - オレは、ニノのゲームしてる横顔がすごい好き。苦戦してたゲームをやっとクリアできた瞬間、よっしゃー!って、隣にいたオレを見たの。そのときのニノの目は勝利の輝いた目をしてた。
二宮 - アハハハハハ(笑)。
大野 - カッコ良かったよ～。
相葉 - 野球で、ピッチャーやってるときもカッコいいよ。撃たれても希望を捨てないタイプだね。
二宮 - 相葉さんはすぐ自分の手柄にしようとするタイプだからね。走って普通に取れる球を、そのあとゴロンって転がったりして、ファインプレーに見せ掛けてさ。
相葉 - ウハハハ(笑)。バレてる。
二宮 - 潤はね。ライブの打ち合せの最中がカッコいいね。よくもまぁ、あんなにアイデアがポンポンと出てくるな、と。
相葉 - マツジュンが体調が悪くなって、夜中4人なっちゃったことあったじゃん。
でもその日に、たたき台になる曲順をどうしても決めなきゃならない日で。
二宮 - 残った4人で何も決められなかったら怒られちゃう～。
松本 - いや、怒んないから(笑)。
相葉 - 困ったよね、あの夜は。決めたはいいけど、これでいいか確認したい潤がいない、ってのが。
櫻井 - マツジュンいないと、フワフワした打ち合わっせだもんな。
二宮 - フワフワだよね。で、困って最初にやったことと言えば、カレー臭いから窓開けよう、って。
櫻井 - 完全にオレのせいな(笑)。
大野 - このアルバムで、またあのドームの空間に行けるんだね。今回は地方にも行けるし。
相葉 - 前回のドームのDVD見てたら、もう楽しみになっちゃって。
松本 - オレ今、座談会しながら新たに思いついたことあるんだよね。あしたの打ち合わせで言うね!
大野・櫻井・相葉・二宮 - はいっ。

Aiba - What?!
Sakurai - All the more cool.
Matsumoto - Thats rather 'rock'. (laughs)
Ninomiya - That devoted attitude, ne.
Aiba - I think its cool when Sho-kun is reading the newspaper. Its not just once in a while, it's everyday without fail, ne. It's continuing coolness! Although he looks like an old man when hes reading.
Ninomiya - Because he folds it vertically.
Matsumoto - An old man on his commute to work, ne.
Sakurai - Ahahaha. For sure.
Ohno - I love Nino's profile when hes playing games. I've seen the instant when he finally clears a hard part and shouts YES! His eyes shine with victory.
Ninomiya - Ahahahahaha. (laughs)
Ohno - It was cool~.
Aiba - He's also cool when hes pitching for baseball. Even if he loses, hes the type to keep holding on to his dreams.
Ninomiya - Because you're the type that tries to get to your goal at once, ne. You run and a ball that you can normally catch, drops and rolls away, you pretend that it was a 'fine play'.
Aiba - uhahaha. (laughs) I've been found out.
Ninomiya - Jun, ne. He's really cool during meetings for our concerts. I'm often surprised at how ideas just keep coming to him.
Aiba - MatsuJun wasnt feeling well, and it was just the 4 of us there one night. But on that day, the on-going discussion about the order of the songs had to be decided no matter what that night.
Ninomiya - If the four of us couldnt decide on anything it would make him mad~.
Matsumoto - Nah I wouldnt. (laughs)
Aiba - That night was rough. Deciding things was fine, but is it really ok to leave it like this without MatsuJun to check on it for us?
Sakurai - If MatsuJun isnt there, the meeting is rather pathetic.
Ninomiya - Pathetic, ne. Speaking of, the first thing that was upsetting was that it smelled of curry so we had to open the windows.
Sakurai - Completely my fault. (laughs)
Ohno - We can match the dome atmosphere again with this album, ne. This time we can go to the coastal regions too.
Aiba - I was watching the DVD from last years dome concerts, it's already got me excited for this time.
Matsumoto - Just now while we were talking, I've come up with some new ideas, ne. I'll tell you at tomorrow's meeting ne!
