こんにちは！コンサート行きました！櫻井くんのラップを聴くたび「すばらしー」と、言ってしまいます。あまりにも、うれしくてメールしました！櫻井くんは、なんであんなにむずかしいラップを、覚えられるんですか？（北海道・リバース・９才）
Hello! I went to your concert! While listening to Sakurai's rap I ended up saying 'amazing' out loud. I was so overjoyed I sent in a mail! Sakurai, how can you remember such a difficult rap? (Hokkaido, Rebirth, 9yrs)

櫻井　自分で書いてるからです（笑）。でも不思議なもんで、本当にそうなんだよな。やっぱ、歌部分は歌詞カード見て、覚えようとしないと覚えられないけど、ラップ詞は俺が書いてるから。
松本　いきなりラップが飛んだりとかしないの？あとさ、カラオケ行って「歌ってよ！」って言われて、“うわ、わかんねぇ！”ってときとかないの？？
櫻井　ないね。だけど、前にコンサートのアンコールで「台風ジェネレーション」がかかったときは、俺が書いた歌詞じゃないから、出てこなくて。
松本　なんか、あったね。
櫻井　思わず「歌ってー！」ってお客さんに任せたことあったけど。
松本　あはは。丸投げですよ。
櫻井　自分で書いてないのは、忘れちゃうんだよ。俺が書いたのは、基本的に大丈夫。
松本　そっか、なるほどね。俺も基本的に覚えてるけど、この間のドームツアーで、アンコールで歌った曲に俺のソロがあったんだけど、歌詞が出てこなかったときがあったな。で、モニターに映ってるのわかってたけど、笑ってごまかしてた（笑）たまにやっちゃうね。
櫻井　笑顔は大切だよ（笑）。
Sakurai - Because I wrote it myself. (laughs) But it's strange, it's really like you say. For the songs, I have to look at the lyric cards and sit down and remember them, but with the rap I don't because I wrote it.
Matsumoto - Do you ever just forget the rap all of a sudden? Also, aren't there times where they tell you to 'Sing!!' at karaoke, but you just have no idea on the lyrics?
Sakurai - Nope. But one time before when we were doing 'Typhoon generation' for an encore, I couldn't get the words to come out because I wasn't the one that wrote them.
Matsumoto - Oh yeah, that did happen.
Sakurai - And there was a time where without thinking, I just told the fans to sing it, and left it to them.
Matsumoto - Hahah. Just passing it off to them.
Sakurai - I end up forgetting the things I haven't written myself. The things I wrote myself, are basically okay though.
Matsumoto - Hmm, I see. I normally remember too, but during an encore during our dome tour, I had a solo in the song, but I just couldn't remember the lyrics. I knew they were being displayed on the monitor, so I smiled and cheated (laughs) sometimes I do that.
Sakurai - Smiling is important. (laughs)

私の家族は嵐のファンなので、家族の誕生日はもちろん、嵐のみんなの誕生日にもケーキを食べて誕生日を祝ってます。この掟を始めて、最初に祝ったのが大ちゃんの誕生日でした。１０周年突入おめでとうございます。１０年たった今でも嵐内でケンカがないなんて、本当に仲のいい証拠だと思います！！これからも５人で他のグループを突き放すぐらい、いいグループになってください。（大阪府・白附（しらつき）優・?才）
All of my family are Arashi fans, so our birthdays are a given, but we also celebrate Arashi's birthdays with a cake as well. The first one we did this for was Oh-chan and his birthday. Congratulations on entering your 10th year. I think that after 10 years of being together, and even now you dont fight among each other, really proves how well you get along with one another!! 相葉　俺らの誕生日にケーキを食べて祝ってくれてるって、すごい！（笑）
二宮　何がすごいって、そこにいる人たちと直接関係のない誕生日会だもんね。
相葉　だって、主役がいないからね。
二宮　そう考えると、クリスマスもクリストの誕生日だから、やってることは同じだよね。人物のランクは違いすぎるけど...。
大野　すごいねー。
二宮　自分が５人兄妹だったら、家族とメンバーの分を合わせて、毎月ケーキ食べてるみたいなもんでしょ？！うちじゃ、できないもんなあ。
Aiba - Celebrating our birthdays and eating cake, how awesome! (laughs)
Ninomiya - The amazing part is, is that it's a completely unrelated to them birthday party.
Aiba - Because the main guest of honor isn't there, right?
Ninomiya - If you think about it though, it's really the same thing with Christmas and Christ's birthday. Although he's much higher on the scale that we are...
Ohno - Amazing~.
Ninomiya - If all 5 of us were brothers, and you add in all our family birthdays too, we could probably have cake every month?! That'd be too much for my house~.

いきなりですが、私は今、恋の悩みがあります...。それは好きな人ができないことです（泣）。小学生のころは、いたんですけど...どうしたらいいのでしょうか？（笑）（愛知県・のくちゃん・１３才）
I know it's kind of sudden, but I'm having a problem concerning love... It's that I can't find someone to like. (tear) There was someone in elementary school, but... what do you think I should do? (laughs) (Aichi, Noku-chan, 13yrs)

松本　べつにいいんじゃない？
櫻井　俺もそう思う。
松本　なんかさ、恋に恋する感じってあるじゃん。それっていらないよね、って僕は思います。無理に、恋に恋しなくて、普通に好きになったときにとっとくわけじゃないけど、今自分がやりたいことに時間使ったほうが、いいんじゃないかな？
櫻井　まわりが恋愛の話してると、そこに乗っかりたくなるときってあるよね。でもさ、いなきゃいないで、いいんじゃない？好きな人は、いずれ現れるよ！
Matsumoto - You don't need to do anything?
Sakurai - I think so too.
Matsumoto - There's the feeling of being in love, but I don't think you need it necessarily. You shouldn't force love, I'm not telling you to ignore someone you like, but I think right now just focusing on doing things you enjoy should be enough.
Sakurai - There are times when everyone will be talking about love and going out, and you'll want to join in, but it's okay to not be into that as well. The person you like will show up sooner or later!

翔くん、「ヤッターマン」の格好してるの見ました。カッコいいです。早く映画を見たい。翔くん、大好きです。「Anti-Anti」好きです。それからもいろいろとがんばってください。今度コンサート行くために、お金ためてます。（？県・海奈・？才）
I saw your costume for Yattaman, Sho-kun. It's so cool. I want to see the movie now. I really like you, Sho-kun. I like "Anti-Anti". Also keep up the good work on all your other projects as well. Now I'm earning money so I can come to your concert next time. (?, Shiina, ?yrs)

櫻井　ありがとう！
松本　「ヤッターマン」と「Anti-Anti」と？短い文面にいろんなのが入ってたね。
櫻井　好きがいっぱいで、“告白の幕の内弁当”って感じだね（笑）。やっと「ヤッターマン」も情報が公開され始めたからね。俺も完全にできあがったのは見れてないし、楽しみなんだよね。現場は情報もれに関して厳戒態勢で、撮影所内で福田沙紀ちゃんと記念写真撮ろうとすると、プロデューサーがスッと寄ってくるんだよ。
松本　何それ（笑）。そこまで厳しかったんだ。
Sakurai - Thank you!
Matsumoto - Yattaman and Anti-Anti. It was a short mail, but it had a lot of things in it.
Sakurai - So full of things they like, almost like an 'assorted confession lunch box set'. (laughs) Information about Yattaman is finally starting to be released. I haven't seen the finished product yet either, so I'm looking forward to it as well. On alert concerning the news from the set, just as I was going to take a picture with Fukada Saki-chan to remember, the producer quickly came over.
Matsumoto - What's that all about. (laughs) So strict.

こんにちは！私は剣道を習っているんですが、冬でもくさいのに夏になるともっとくさいんです。そこで、おたずねします。剣道で汗くさくなる女のコはどぅ思いますか？！（東京都・嵐一筋・１２才）
Hello! I'm learning Kendo, its smelly in the winter, but even more so in the summer. And therein lies my question. What do you think of girls that reek from Kendo?! (Tokyo, Living only for Arashi, 12yrs)

櫻井　だって、それが剣道なんでしょ？剣道やってる女のコはカッコいいと思うし、仮に試合を見てもにおいまでは伝わってこないから、あんまり気にしないよ。終わった後までくさいわけじゃないだろうし、そんなに大きな問題じゃないんじゃないかな。
松本　え？くさいってどういうこと？！俺、剣道やったことないから、状況がよくわかんないんだけど。
櫻井　こてと防具が洗えないから、くさくなるんですよ。
松本　グッズが？汗かいたのをそのまま使ってるから？それで嫌われるってことはないんじゃないの？それに、がなばってる姿はカッコいいと思うよ！
Sakurai - Well, that's what Kendo is, right? I think girls who do Kendo are cool, and like say if you were watching a game, the smell wouldn't make it to the people watching, so I wouldn't worry about it so much. It's not like you still smell even after you've finished, so I don't think it's really such a big issue.
Matsumoto - What? What do you mean by smells?! I've never done Kendo, so I don't know what you mean exactly.
Sakurai - You can't wash the protective gear and gloves, so they get smelly.
Matsumoto - The equipment? Because you just use it as it is all sweaty? I'm sure no one would hate you over something like that. And more than that, I find people who are giving it their all to be cool!

「嵐の宿題くん」、毎週見てます。嵐ってすごくメンバー同士、仲がいいですよね！最近メンバーで出かけた所はどこですか？出かけたときのエピソードなど教えてください！（愛知県・のくちゃん・１３才）
I watch 'Arashi no Shukudai-kun' every week. All of Arashi are very close with each other! Where have you gone out to  together recently? Tell me what happened when you went out! (Aichi, Noku-chan, 13yrs)

二宮　上海かなあ。いちばん最近っていうと、アジアツアーで、みんなで上海に行ったことですかね？
相葉　楽しかったよねー。
二宮　プライベートは、さすがにないよね。でもさ、いちばん年下の俺でも、もう２５才だよ？２５才のグループの大人たちが、休みだからって、しかも平日なんかにいっしょに旅行してたら、世間の人はひくだろ？！
大野　いっしょに行くとしたら？うーん...銀座かな。ねえ、相葉ちゃん。
相葉　昔、ふたりで飲みに行ったことがあったね。最近は、あんまりそういう機会もないけど、また行きたいね。
Ninomiya - Shanghai I guess. The most recent one would be all of us going to Shanghai together for our Asia tour, right?
Aiba - It was so fun~.
Ninomiya - We don't go out together in our free time, as expected. But even though I'm the youngest, I'm already 25? When a group of 25 year old adults go out on a weekday somewhere because it was their day off, that's gotta be a rarity in the world!
Ohno - If we were to go out together? Hmm~.. maybe Ginza. Right? Aiba-chan.
Aiba - Awhile ago, Leader and I went out for drinks there before. Lately we haven't had much opportunity to go, but I'd like to go again sometime.

去年初めて念願の嵐のコンサートに行きました。とても楽しかったです。もう相葉ちゃん最高です！コンサートでは終始泣きまくりでした。みんなで「YOUR SONG」を歌ったときは会場がひとつにまとまり感動しました。コンサートが終わった後も熱気がいつまでも冷めませんでした。たった３時間という短い時間でしたが、ひとつの空間にいるその３時間が、今はいちばんの思い出です。次も必ず見に行きます。次は前回以上に感動する、よりよいコンサートにしてくださいね。（北海道・嵐らぶ・１３才）
Last year I went to my first beloved Arashi's concert. It was soo fun. Aiba-chan is just the best! He was in tears from the beginning to the end. The whole concert arena joined as one when "Your Song" came on, I was moved. Even after the concert was over I just couldn't calm myself down. It was only a miniscule 3 hours together, but that shared time we spent is my best memory. I'm definetly coming next time too. Please make an even more moving and overall better concert than last time! (Hokkaido, Arashi-love, 13yrs)

相葉　これって、５大ドームツアーの札幌ドームかなぁ？コンサートに来てくれた、っていうのがありがたいよね。

大野　本当に客席で涙ぐんでる人、いっぱい見るもんなあ。
相葉　ぜひ次の機会も、見に来てほしいよね。

Aiba - I guess that would have been in Sapporo during the five dome tour? Thanks for coming and watching the concert.
Ninomiya - I wonder why they became a fan.
Ohno - There really were a lot of teary eyed fans out there.
Aiba - We'd love to have you come watch us again next chance you get.

大野　趣味を見つけたいの？だったら、まずいろいろやってみるのがいいんじゃないかな？僕の場合、釣りは小さいときから、父ちゃんとかじいちゃんとやってて好きだったんだよね。ただやる機会がなかっただけで...。でも、おととしの９月の終わりごろかな。夜でも船を出せるって聞いて、“あ！仕事終わった後とか、いつでも行けるんだ！！”って知った瞬間からハマった。夜だと海の上で満天の星空を誰にもジャマされずに見られるのがたまんないね。
相葉　おっ、すごーい！（大野がメールを読んでる間に、二宮が相葉を相手にマジックを披露）
大野　ニノがマジックにハマったのは、去年だよね。最初に見たのは２月か３月ごろじゃない？僕らによく見せてくれるけど、この前までてこずってた技を、次に会ったときには完璧にマスターしてたりするよね。上達がすごい！たぶん、すごく練習してるんじゃない？
二宮　ま、そうですね。僕は基本的に凝り性ですから。新しい趣味を見つけたいって、それはそんなに重要じゃないんだよ。ね、相葉さん？
相葉　そうですね。
二宮　楽しく生きることが前提だから！
相葉　俺の趣味はスポーツだけど、新しくなくても、今まで楽しんでたことを楽しめばいいんじゃないかな？
Ohno - You want to find a hobby? If so, then shouldn't you just try out lots of different things? For me, my dad or grandpa would take me out fishing, and I always liked it. I just didn't have the chance to actually do it... but last year around the end of september, I heard that you can still fish at night too. "Oh! I can go whenever, even after work!!" From that instant I was caught in it. On the ocean at night, you can see the whole night sky, and no one bothers you either, I just can't get enough of it.
Aiba - Ah, amazing! (while Ohno was reading the mail, Ninomiya was using Aiba to practice his magic)
Ohno - Nino got into magic last year. I think the first time I saw it was around February or March. He shows us a lot, but before a trick he couldn't quite do before, next time you got together, he'd have it completely mastered. He figures it out so fast! You probably just practice a lot, right?
Ninomiya - Well, yeah that's true. I'm basically just obsessed. I don't think its that important to worry about trying to find a hobby. Right, Aiba-chan?
Aiba - That's right.
Ninomiya - Enjoying life is the key!
Aiba - My hobby is sports, but even if it's not exactly new, as long as you can have fun and enjoy doing it, then that's okay too.

Hello. The other day, and I only just realized this because a friend pointed it out to me, but it seems that I fidget during class. I didn't realize it at all, so I was a little shocked. 櫻井　俺はよく鼻をさわります。（大野くんを見て）あ、あなたもするか。
大野　鼻をさわるのと、指先の皮をむく。
相葉　俺は、よくズボン上げてます。すぐ落ちちゃうんで。
松本　元から上げとけばいいんじゃないすか。
相葉　ベルトで、ぎゅって締めるのが、あんまり好きじゃないんだよね。
二宮　それ、よく見る！
相葉　よく上げてるよな？
二宮　よく上げてます。俺は...よく手を洗う。
松本　ああ、洗ってるね！マジックやるようになってから、すげー洗ってる印象がある。
二宮　より洗うようになったね。じつはマジックとも関係あるんだよ。なんか本に書いてあったから、実践してるだけだけど。
松本　“マジシャンは、よく手を洗え”って？！なんで？
二宮　なんかね、手が汚れてるとトランプが傷むのが早いんだって。
櫻井　あっ、そうなんだ！手アカとかで？
二宮　カードのふちとか汚くなるんだって。
松本　へぇー。俺は「なんか」が口グセ。しぐさだと、よく頬杖ついてるって、言われるけど、自分じゃあんまりわかんないもんだよなぁ。
Aiba - Habits, huh.
Sakurai - I touch my nose a lot. (looking over at Ohno) Ah, you do too?
Ohno - I touch my nose, and play with my fingertips.
Aiba - I pull up my pants a lot. They slide down all of a sudden.
Matsumoto - Wouldn't it be better to pull them up from the start?
Aiba - I really don't like wearing a belt that tight though.
Ninomiya - I do see you do that a lot!
Aiba - Pulling them up?
Ninomiya - Pulling them up. I... wash my hands a lot.
Matsumoto - Ah, you do! It seems like you wash them all the time, after you started doing magic.
Ninomiya - I wash them more than before now. It actually has a connection with magic. I read it in a book somewhere, so I'm just trying to do what it says.
Matsumoto - "Magicians much wash their hands frequently"? Why's that?
Ninomiya - I guess, as your hands get dirty, it increases how quickly the cards wear out.
Sakurai - Ah, I see now! Like smudges?
Ninomiya - They said the edges of the cards will become dirty.
Matsumoto - Heh. I have a habit of saying 'nanka' (see note below). And as for gestures, I'm told I prop my head up on my hands a lot, but I don't really know myself.

[I usually don't translate 'nanka' alone like that, so it's hard to give it a precise meaning here.. but it gives the impression that they're not completely sure, or that they're throwing out a guess/example.. at least that's what it means to me D: ]

Aiba - (whispering to Ohno) Marraige, marraige.
Ohno - Marraige then.

Sakurai - I wonder what I would want to do before I hit 30.
Matsumoto - Sho-kun has 3 more years? That's right, three years can realy fly by.
Sakurai - Ah, I'll move out and live on my own!
Ohno - Me too!
Sakurai - Hey. Wanna live together?!
Ohno - Live together?
Matsumoto - I think maybe the quicker the better? (laughs)

二宮　何才ぐらいなんだろうね。男性がひとり暮らしを始める平均年令って。よく「遅い」とか言われるじゃん。
櫻井　地方に住んでる人は、大学入って上京するタイミングだしね。
二宮　実家が東京に人は、なかなかしないよ。
大野　しないもんね（と櫻井を見る）
松本　俺の友だちは高校入ったときから、ひとり暮らし始めた人とかいたよ。
相葉　俺は３０までにしたいことって、特にないんだよなぁ。そんなに追われて何かをするっていうのは、ないと思う。
二宮　俺もないなー。
松本　俺は...結婚ですかね（笑）。
櫻井　あと５年もあるしね。
松本　５年あったら、結婚してんじゃないか？って単純に思うけど。
櫻井　仮に来月出会った人とでも、５年もあれば、けっこう“じっくりタイプ”だよね。
松本　かなり育めるよね？（笑）
二宮　ま、普通の会社員とかだったら、結婚とかしてる年なんだろうなあ。
Ninomiya - I wonder what age it is, when guys normally begin to move out and live on their own. Aren't you usually told that we're kinda late?
Sakurai - People who live in the suburbs do when they move to the city for college.
Ninomiya - People who were originally from Tokyo just don't seem to.
Ohno - They really dont. (looking over at Sakurai)
Matsumoto - I had a friend who started living alone every since he started high school.
Aiba - There really isn't anything in particular I want to do before 30. I really don't think theres anything like that I've been pursuing.
Ninoimya - Same for me.
Matsumoto - For me... marraige I guess. (laughs)
Sakurai - There's still another five years left.
Matsumoto - I think it would make sense to be married in 5 years.
Sakurai - Like say you met someone next month, if it took 5 years, that'd be a pretty 'slow pace'.
Matsumoto - That's some serious development? (laughs)
Ninomiya - Well, if we were normal salarymen, this would be the age we'd probably be getting married at.

２００９年で、嵐は１０周年ですよね。ふと考えたら、親友と言えるほど仲よくしてる友だちとの友情が、嵐と同じ、１０年続いてるんですよ。その友だちと同じクラスになって、知り合ったのが１９９９年なんです。気づいたときに、嵐といっしょってだけで...なんかうれしい気持ちになりました！嵐といっしょで、友情もずっと続けていきたいなって思いました（神奈川県・嵐love・１８才）
2009 is your 10th year as Arashi, right? When I thought about it, I have been really close with some of my friends for 10 years now, the same as Arashi. I got to know them when we were put in the same class together in 1999. When I realized that it was the same as Arashi.. somehow it made me really happy! I thought I'd keep seeing both my friends and Arashi the same as always. (Kanagawa, Arashi-love, 18yrs)

櫻井　今、大野さんが、ビックリしてました。「８才のコが１８才になっちゃうんだね」って。
松本　そうだね。
相葉　すげー！（笑）
二宮　そりゃ、そうだよ。（大野を見て）おじさんなんか、もう２８才なんだから！
櫻井　俺らにとっては、１０年が一時代って感じだけど、８才から１８才までの１０年間って、三時代ぐらい生きてるかんじだもんね。
二宮　小、中、高って、いろんなイベントがありすぎるよ。
櫻井　出会いとか別れとかね。
相葉　卒業とかね。
櫻井　その支配からの？
４人　ふはははは。
二宮　なんで、尾崎豊？！
相葉　わっかんない（笑）。
櫻井　そんな中、１０年もずっと友だちなのは、大切にしたほうがいいよ。
松本　そのコとケンカしても、ちゃんと仲直りして友情が続いてほしいよね。
Sakurai - Ohno was shocked just now. "An 8 year old would be 18 now."
Matsumoto - That's right.
Aiba - Amazing~! (laughs)
Ninomiya - Well of course. (looking at Ohno) Because you're already 28 now, old man!
Sakurai - For us, those 10 years feel like a single generation, but the 10 years from 8 to 18, would feel more like 3 generations.
Ninomiya - In elementary, middle and high school, there's just way too many things that happen.
Sakurai - Hellos and goodbyes with friends.
Aiba - Graduations.
Sakurai - From your grasp?　[part of the lyrics from Ozaki Yutaka's 'Sotsugyou'/'Graduation' song]
Other 4 - Hahahaha.
Ninomiya - Why Ozaki Yutaka?!
Aiba - I have no idea. (laughs)
Sakurai - You really should treat those friends with care, that have lasted for over 10 years together.
Matsumoto - I hope that even if you have a fight, you can make up and keep being friends.
