大切なもの？それは…お金です! うん、お金は大事ですね(笑)。あとは、基本的に人間に関するオプションっていうのは、お金には代えられない大切なものではありますね。目とかさ。オレ、 カメラとか触ってると思うんだけど、カメラはイチイチピント合わせなきゃいけないんだよ？でも、そのレンズをのぞいてる、こいつ(と、自分の目を指す) は、もうすでにピントが合ってるわけじゃない。どこを見ても。オートなわけでしょう。ね？で、色も立体感も出してくれるじゃない。昔、話し合ったことがあ るんだよね。友達とみんなで。例えば、カメラが10万するんだったら、この目は何万なんだろう？って。それは、すごく思うなぁ。その結果？結
果は 出ない! 値段はつけられないね。プライスレスだね(笑)。あとはね、みんなで飲んでるときかな。そういうのは、大事だなって思いますね。昨日もね、飲んでたんで す。岩松(了)さんと小泉(今日子)さんと荒川良々と平岩紙ちゃんと。そのチームが今度舞台やるからって、来なよ!って呼ばれて。べつに知らない人たち じゃないから、オレも「いいよ」って(笑)。飲みながら、「あれはああだった」「これはこうだった」って…言ってる時間が楽しいですね。今年初外交です、 昨日が(笑)。帰るころには…外出たら、雪降ってて「おぉ、雪だよ!」ってテンション上がちゃって…なんだけど、坂道だから滑ちゃって滑ちゃって。酔っぱ らってるしダブルでヨロヨロでした(笑)。非常に疲れましたねぇ。オレね、雪が好きなんだよ。雨も好き。なんでもそうなんだけど…ゲームもそうで、要は ね、横スクロールするのがダメなの、オレ。だからなんだ。大好きなの、縦スクロール。ゲーム でもそうで、「ドラクエ」とかも、北へ行く確率のほうが多いからね(笑)。電車とか車とか人とのつきあいとか…全部横じゃん。でも、雨と雪は全部、縦だか ら。それがね、いいんだよね。縦スクロールがすごい好きだね、たぶん。なんでもそうだよ。ホームページとかもさ、横いっぱいまで広げないとダメなのオレ。 ちょっと見切れたりするじゃん。あれとか絶対だめ。どうすんだよ、これ!とか思う(笑)。だから雪は好きかな、そういう観点からいって。まぁ、話がそれだ けど(笑)、そういう外交って大事ですね。なんか…好きですね。こういう(取材や撮影)活動はさ、なんかアレじゃない？ちょっとね、上級な…だって、写真 撮ってもらうんだぜ？なんの因果か、こんな(寝グセの頭を指す)感じが、ね？あと30分ぐらいで、写真撮ってもらうじゃんか。それってスゴイことじゃな い。で…食べ物もこんなにいっぱいさ、タダで食べられたりさ？しかも、昼の2時からだよ？なんかさ…それだけじゃバランスが取れないんだろうね、きっと。 外交があって普通になれますよね。あと、ひとりの時間も大切です。ボクは自分が大好きなので、最終的に自分が一番かわいく死ねたらいいと思ってるタイプな んで、人間的に(笑)。だから、自分の時間は大切。まぁ、外交でもひとりになってますけどね。何人で集まってもその中でひとりでいられるし、ふたりでダレ かとごはん食べたとしてもひとりでいられるし。そういうことができるようになったから、あんまり考えることはないけどね。
Something important? That'd be... money! Yep money is important isn't it. (laughs) Also, basically, some things which people have, cant be bought with money? Like eyes for instance. I think about it whenever i hold a camera, but cameras have to focus on things one at a time, right? However, this guy (pointing to his own eye) while looking into the lens, has already focused in. No matter which direction you look. Like its on automatic. You know? Then it even shows the colors and shapes of things too. I've talked about this before in the past. Together with all my friends. Like, if we put the camera at 100000 (money), then what would the eye be? I've always thought about that. The answer? There is no answer! You cant put a price on it. It's priceless. (laughs) Also, I guess when i'm out drinking with everyone. I think that kind of thing is important too. I was just out drinking last night with Iwamatsu (Ryo)-san, Koizumi (Kyouko)-san, Arakawa Yoshiyoshi and Hiraiwa Kami-chan. They were out seeing a play and told me to come too. Its not like i dont know them, so i said, okay i'll go. (laughs) We spoke about stuff like "Oh that was like that" "And this was like this" while drinking.. that kind of stuff is fun. That was my first outing this year, yesterday. (laughs) When i was going home... there was snow falling when i left the bar, "Whoa, snow~!", and i got all excited.. but it was on a slope, so i was sliding all over the place too. Drunk and wobbling all over. (laughs) I was extremely exhausted. You know, I really like snow. Rain too. Its the same with anything like that.. even in games, I just cant deal with things that scroll sideways. So of course. I love things that go up and down. Its the same with games, like in 'Dragon Quest', the probability of going north is pretty high. (laughs) Trains, cars, relationships with people... they're all side scrolling. Rain and snow are all vertical things. Thats really nice I think. I really love things that scroll up and down, I guess. Its the same with anything. Even on web pages, if i dont make the window really wide I cant deal with it. That way you can see everything right? I just cant deal with it unless its like that. What am i supposed to do with this? kinda feeling. (laughs) So thats why i like snow, because of that point of view. Well, thats that (laughs), but those kind of outings are important. Somehow.. I like this. This kind of lifestyle (interviews and photo shoots), isnt it so that? Sort of, high class... afterall, I get to have my pictures taken. You start looking like this (pointing to his bed head), right? After about 30 minutes, you get your picture taken. Isnt that an amazing thing? Also.. having this much food here, and you can eat it all for free? On top of that, after 2 o'clock? Somehow... you cant really keep yourself balanced with stuff like that, for sure. Going out with others can return you to normal. Being alone is important too though. Since I love myself, in the end i'm the type that thinks it'd be nice to die in the most cute manner, as a human. (laughs) [sorry this didnt make much sense to me ^^;] So my own time is important. Well, even when i go out i end up alone though. I can be alone no matter how many people get together, even eating out together with one other person, I can be alone. Since i've become able to do that kind of thing, I havent thought about it much.
